Frederic Remington
Frederic Remington (October 4, 1861 - December 26, 1909) was an American painter, illustrator, sculptor, and writer. He was interested in the Old American West. He painted Native Americans, cowboys, soldiers, horses, and other aspects of life in the American West.
He was born in the state of New York. When he was twenty years old, he travelled to North and South Dakota, Montana (3 of the 5 states which formed the Great Plains with Wyoming and Nebraska...). He wanted to paint "The frontier" because it disappeared.
Here are some of his works of art (click on the title to enlarge the painting).

Duane Hanson (1925-1996) was an American sculptor. He was a "hyperrealistic" artist : he was interested in depicting the real life of real American middle class people. So, he sculpted men and women at work, at the supermarket, at home, on holidays, etc...
Ses sculptures d'êtres humains sont en fibre de verre, mais elles sont moulées sur des modèles vivants. Une fois la sculpture moulée, elle est peinte et habillée avec de véritables vêtements. Les accessoires sont eux aussi réels.
Duane sculpted "The Sunbather" in 1971.
Your mission : What is there on the floor, next to the woman's chair?
